Outcome Organized a 200+ attendee car unveiling, grew the team's Instagram following 10%, and lead a team of three producing all media.
I lead media and marketing for the University of Alberta Formula SAE team — overseeing the team’s branding and image, managing the group responsible for every poster, photo, video, and social post the team puts out, and developing the content strategy that keeps sponsors, students, and automotive enthusiasts engaged.
I stay involved on the engineering side too — from researching cooling design alternatives to prototyping chassis torsion-rig parts — because insightful updates require actually understanding the car.
Highlights
- Organized the unveiling event for the UA-25 car — over 200 attendees, from sponsors to students, for the reveal of the team’s newest race car.
- Grew the team’s Instagram following by 10% through a consistent stream of build updates, competition coverage, and promotional designs.
- Designed posters and promotional material for recruitment, sponsorship packages, and event announcements.
- Shot and edited photo and video coverage of the build season — including the photos on this page.
